Atlantis DRA-707 Radio Altimeter Ramp Simulator
The Atlantis DRA-707 Radio Altimeter Ramp Simulator is designed to facilitate the testing of digital altimeters by providing simulated aircraft radio altitude information in a flight-line environment. Here are some key specifications:
Accuracy: Better than 0.1% in all parameters
Altitude Range: From -20 ft to +8,000 ft, with a resolution of 0.125 ft (BNR) and 0.1 ft (BCD)
Frequency: ARINC 429 Bus Frequency is variable, from 10 kHz to 15.9 kHz, selectable with a resolution of 0.1 kHz; default is 12.5 kHz
Ramp Rate Range: ±16,000 fpm with a resolution of 1 fpm
Output Channels: Can drive up to three radio altimeters, each having TTL and ARINC 429 outputs plus AFCS discrete
The machine will be sent away for UKAS calibration upon Purchase.
