ESIS Aircraft Calibration Test Box JT-147A

The ESIS Aircraft Calibration Test Box JT-147A is used to calibrate the Electronic Standby Instrument System (ESIS) and ensure accurate readings of aircraft pitch, roll, heading, and Euler angles


  • Components: Includes a calibration test box, MAT-3000A transmitter assembly, and test box cable.

  • Accuracy: Better than 0.1% in all parameters.

  • Altitude Range: From -20 ft to +8,000 ft, with a resolution of 0.125 ft (BNR) and 0.1 ft (BCD).

  • Frequency: ARINC 429 Bus Frequency is variable, from 10 kHz to 15.9 kHz, selectable with a resolution of 0.1 kHz; default is 12.5 kHz.

  • Ramp Rate Range: ±16,000 fpm with a resolution of 1 fpm.

  • Output Channels: Can drive up to three radio altimeters, each having TTL and ARINC 429 outputs plus AFCS discretes.
